History

There has been a plethora of films over the past four years including crime thrillers, documentaries, horror flicks, political satires, comedies, surreal animations and detective stories. Entrants have been aged eight to eighty from a range of backgrounds and professions. Students from primary and secondary schools, plus local colleges and universities have also taken part and been judged alongside adult contenders. More than 100 films have been viewed by the panel of judges and thousands of people have taken part in the public vote.
